Hands-on with Blackberry's new KEYone smartphone

While the BlackBerry Priv had a slide-out keyboard, the BlackBerry KEYone trades in screen size for a keyboard right on the front.

The earlier launched TCL made Blackberry smartphones are just the rebranded variants of the Alcatel smartphones.

The BlackBerry KEYOne has finally been officially revealed at Mobile World Congress 2017. BlackBerry says the KEYone is the "perfect device, with no compromises".

Giants tag JPP, two years after tagging him the first time
Two years after being franchised by the Giants, the 28-year-old is expected to be tagged again, according to ProFootballTalk . It's the non-exclusive tag, and it entitles Pierre-Paul to a one-year tender worth 10.14 percent of the total salary cap.

KeyOne, previously codenamed Mercury, is targeted at those who prefer physical keyboards, as well as BlackBerry's security features.

The KeyOne comes with a 4.5-inch LCD display (resolution 1620 x 1080) and aspect ratio of 3:2 that would make browsing or reading an email a nice experience.

It runs on the latest Android 7.1 Nougat along with Blackberry Hub that brings all the Blackberry features into a single app. Unlike the models of the past, BlackBerry KEYone has been developed and manufactured by partner TCL. According to BlackBerry, the KEYone is the "perfect device, with no compromises". At least the KeyOne has an aluminum frame, which gets exposed on the sides of the device, while the back is a plastic soft touch material. This year it's coming out with the KEYOne, for the whopping price of £499. Thanks to Quick Charge 3.0, meanwhile, its 3,505 mAh should recharge faster than ever: the two companies claim a 50-percent charge should come in around 36 minutes, when used with a compatible USB Type-C charger.

US Supreme Court weighs NC law banning sex offenders from social media
His state, Nebraska and IN have had laws that federal courts ruled violated the free-speech rights of sex offenders. Only they "are greater than the communication you could ever had, even in the paradigm of public square", he said.

Around back, the KEYone's features a 12-megapixel camera with a Sony IMX378 sensor and large 1.55µm pixels, which is similar to the camera on the Google Pixel. The front gets an 8-megapixel sensor with an 84-degree lens. It's called the BlackBerry KeyOne, and is being marketed as the most secure Android phone in the world. For example, you can long press the "i" button to launch Instagram, or the "f" key to open Facebook. That includes a host of apps, most notably the security-focused DTEK app for easily checking your device's security, and getting an easy overview as to which apps are getting far more access to your personal information than they reasonably should.

TCL Communication is now taking pre-orders for the device, which will become available from April 2017. It comes with 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD.

There were no announcements about the RAM or the camera unit of the phone.

For starters, it incorporates the beloved physical hardware keyboard. It also comes with support for flick typing.
