Emily Blunt & John Krasinski Team for Thriller A Quiet Place

A story so good they literally couldn't say no and Blunt and Krasinski sharing screen time?

Along with sharing screen duties with his talented wife, former Office star Krasinski will also write and direct A Quiet Place. He previously directed last year's "The Hollars" and "Brief Interviews With Hideous Men" in 2009.

Krasinski and Blunt are finally starring in their first joint film, titled A Quiet Place. The Hollywood Reporter has discerned that A Quiet Place will be set on a farm and will feature "a family being terrorized by evil" (*Shudder*), but other than that, it remains largely a mystery.

Krasinski, 37, stars for Platinum Dunes and Paramount in their upcoming Amazon original series Jack Ryan and he starred in 13 Hours directed by Michael Bay and released previous year.

Helming gig: Krasinski, 37, will also direct the film from an original screenplay he is reworking.

The storyline is being kept under wraps for now, but we do know Michael Bay will produce the film, along with his partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller of Platinum Dunes, and Krasinski will serve as co-executive producer as well.

As long as directors Coffin and Balda keep the human characters as the priority, audiences will surely come back for more. Still, it doesn't look like Universal is planning to stop making Minions or Despicable Me movies anytime soon.
