McDonald's To Switch From Frozen To Fresh Meat

Big change coming to McDonald’s Quarter Pounder

"Today's announcement is part of a continuing food journey for McDonald's", Chris Kempczinski, McDonald's USA President, said in the press release.

Of course, one of the biggest hurdles for McDonald's will be finding sources that can supply enough fresh beef to supply it's more than 14,000 United States locations, something CEO Steve Easterbrook mentioned in June 2016 at an investor conference.

In a short video, McDonald's chief executive Steve Easterbrook said the company also was testing other customer-friendly changes such as home delivery, curbside check-in and mobile order and pay.

Fresh beef was used in test markets in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and in Tulsa, Oklahoma previous year.

"Today's announcement is part of a continuing food journey for McDonald's", McDonald's United States of America president Chris Kempczinski said.

Keane fired over in the early stages as England made a bright start and Adam Lallana's powerful shot hit the post with 30 minutes gone.

"It took us two years to solve the process", he said.

The chain is facing stiffer competition from traditional fast food rivals such as Wendy's, which has been touting its use of fresh beef patties in ads for many months. "We've got to work out whether we have the chillers or refrigerators with the necessary capacity".

McDonald's will join other fast food chains such as Culver's and Wendy's in serving fresh beef patties. They point out that freezing their product is a good way of killing pathogens like E. coli, and that using fresh beef increases the risk of possible contamination.

McDonald's investors reacted positively.

Just two weeks ago the Golden Arches expanded its test of fresh beef to 328 restaurants in North Texas.

The top two in Group A and Group B will advance to Russian Federation 2018 directly after a home-and-away round-robin. U.A.E. remained in fourth place, one point behind Australia for the playoff spot.

McDonald's Dallas-Fort Worth franchisee Joe Jasper said the tests "received overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers and employees".

The announcement, which includes Quarter Pounder and Signature Crafted Recipe burgers, will reportedly not affect other burgers like the Big Mac and McDouble. The Golden Arches fast food company announced on Twitter Thursday that it would be using fresh beef in all quarter pounders at most of their restaurants by mid-2018.

Despite that risk, McDonald's seems to be running with its new identity of giving the customers what they want.

In 2015, McDonald's introduced All-Day Breakfast and committed to sourcing café-free eggs by 2025.
