Trump White House enters a new state of denial

Hours later, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster denied the reports, but it looks like now Trump is admitting that he did leak classified info, contradicting members of his top staff.

In his comments to reporters on Monday, Sen Bob Corker, R-Tenn, close to some in the White House, was explicit about the situation.

McMaster also revealed that Trump was not briefed on the source of the information he shared with Lavrov and Kislyak.

"Somebody is selectively leaking information and facts, and there's a reason it's selective; it's because they're trying to create - you know, and again, for me to guess why - but at least it appears as though somebody is trying to create a narrative or a problem", he said.

Collins said the disclosure to the Russians could compromise US intelligence-gathering activities, and she said Trump should not be hosting the Russian officials at the White House.

The Russian president's comments on Wednesday were the first since accusations first surfaced that the USA president shared secrets while meeting Lavrov at the White House.

"We are willing to talk, but not until we see a total stop of the nuclear process and of any tests there", Ms Haley said. Russian Federation has one of the most sophisticated intelligence-gathering systems in the world and could conceivably trace the information back to its source in the field.

But when asked about concerns the president could have jeopardised U.S. intelligence relationships, McMaster responded: "I'm not concerned at all".

That report was backed up by other media outlets, including CNN and the Wall Street Journal, though Israel itself has not officially confirmed the story.

"There need to be serious changes at the White House, immediately", he said, according to a story on the newspaper's website.

As President, Mr Trump has the power to disclose classified information as he chooses. And the disloyal source in the Oval Office leaked that to the NY "paper of record".

U.S. president Donald Trump is under pressure from USA politicians, including his fellow Republicans, to explain why he shared highly sensitive intelligence information with senior Russian officials at a meeting in the Oval Office last week. Such sharing "could be a risk for our sources", the official said.

Erdogan Praises Trump, Denounces US's Kurdish Allies in Syria
Erdogan knows "Zarrab is going to testify against him unless Turkey finds a way to save him from prison", Yayla wrote. Yildirim's comments come hours ahead of a crucial meeting between presidents Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Donald Trump.

"So to suggest that - which I think is the nut of the question - why wouldn't we want to share a common threat and the efforts that both countries are taking to eradicate a threat that we both feel?"

As the Washington Post first reported, Trump shared details about an ISIS terror threat related to the use of laptop computers on planes. Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer recently urged the White House to publish the transcripts of Trump's meeting with Lavrov.

What Trump did was give rise to the near certainty that the Kremlin will now marry what it has learned from the President with what it knows from other sources - and then share that insight with its allies and Israel's sworn enemies, Iran and Syria.

"At no time were any intelligence sources or methods discussed and no military operations were disclosed that were not already known publicly", he said at the time. Reports say before firing James Comey, Trump told him to lay off the investigation. Comey said he replied that "I agree he is a good guy" but said nothing to Trump about limiting the investigation.

Several Republicans expressed concern Tuesday about this drama-a-day White House.
