Senators try to quiet Kamala Harris, but she doesn't back down

"Will the senator suspend?" interjected Republican Sen.

At a hearing of the Senate Intelligence Committee this morning Democratic Senator Kamala Harris of California was interrupted and reprimanded by the committee's chairman, Senator Richard Burr, a Republican from North Carolina for her aggressive questioning of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

Senator Harris questioned assistant attorney general Rosenstein about the potential for Director Mueller to be fired, and whether he would endorse Mueller to be fully independent, based on the authority of the assistant attorney general. Rosenstein then discussed the potential dangers of giving Mueller full authority, which did not satisfy Harris.

Harris was questioning Rosenstein on whether he had plans for signing a letter that would give complete independence to special counsel Robert Mueller from the Justice Department in his investigation into President Donald Trump's campaign having links to Russian Federation during the 2016 presidential elections.

"I'm not going to require to you answer", Harris told Comey.

Swift is yet to comment herself on her decision, while Perry has just been concentrating on promoting the Witness album and tour. But @HaleyyyEvans said: "Honestly Taylor Swift coming back to Spotify is the best thing that's happened to me all year".

Cue sexism claims from the Left.

Harris was referring to Comey's prepared remarks that were released Wednesday, in which he accused Trump of asking him to end the FBI's investigation into Michael Flynn, the former national security advisor. Kamala Harris (D-CA) questions witnesses from the Trump Administration Justice Department and intelligence officials during a hearing in the Hart Senate Office Building on Capitol Hill June 7, 2017 in Washington, DC.

Before the hearing, Harris reminded her social media followers that this is real life in a post about how she planned to question Comey.

"Kamala Harris is so obsessed with advocating for illegal aliens", Levin said of the exchange, adding that the Democrat Party "cares more about foreigners in America illegally than American citizens who are here paying taxes". In addition, you can even hear that National Intelligence Director Dan Coats was trying to finish an answer when Heinrich started questioning Rosenstein.

Rosenstein gave a lengthy answer, but it did not satisfy Harris.

GOP shrugs off Comey revelations, sticks with Trump
Trump was asked about Comey's testimony multiple times during a meeting with governors and mayors, but ignored all the questions. And, despite Trump's low approval ratings nationally, his core base of supporters remains firmly behind him.

"Thank you, Senator, I'm not joking", Rosenstein continued.

She has, however, vastly exceeded my abysmally low projections in the short amount of time she has been in the nation's capital.

Then Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) broke in and asked the committee chairman to direct Harris to let Rosenstein speak.

Soon after, Sen. Elizabeth Warren took to Twitter and described the incident as unbelievable.
