Sessions' plans to testify surprised Senate intelligence panel members

President Donald Trump speaks during a news conference with Romanian President Klaus Werner Iohannis in the Rose Garden at the White House Friday

Republican Senator James Lankford, a member of the intelligence panel, said on CBS' "Face the Nation" that decision had not been finalized, but, "I assume that this will be public". A Justice Department spokeswoman tells NPR that Sessions requested it be public. But suddenly on Saturday, the Justice Department announced that Sessions would instead talk to the Senate Intelligence Committee. "You can't run forever", Leahy tweeted. Comey said President Trump told Sessions and other administration officials to leave the room before Trump asked him in February to drop a probe into former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn's contacts with Russian Federation.

Trump himself attributed his dismissal of Comey to the Russian Federation investigation.

Senators on that committee are expected to question Sessions about his meetings with Russians - a topic that has come under increased scrutiny amid investigations into Russian meddling in the USA presidential election.

At the right time how you feel it as they had in Nome are what your gut checked idea about this team's chances of winning at all. The State left-hander allowed only four hits in six shutout innings with four walks and four strikeouts. "We're not done yet".

Sessions recused himself from overseeing the federal Russia probe three months ago after The Washington Post reported on a pair of undisclosed meetings Sessions had during the campaign with Sergey Kislyak, the Russian ambassador to the US.

Sessions, a former senator and an early supporter of Trump's election campaign, will be the most senior government official to testify to the committee on the Russian Federation issue. White House spokesman Sean Spicer declined to say that Sessions enjoyed Trump's confidence. "Totally illegal? Very 'cowardly!'" Trump tweeted Sunday morning.

An attorney and broadcaster with longtime ties to a Christian legal organization has joined President Donald Trump's outside legal team to deal with the Russian Federation probes. "The only two people who know what happened in those meetings are the president and James Comey", Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel told Fox. And the same committee asked Comey for his memos about conversations with Mr. Trump. "If there aren't tapes, he should let that be known".

Dennis Rodman expected in North Korea for first visit during Trump presidency
The 2030 World Cup possibilities were discussed by FIFA President Gianni Infantino during his visit to South Korea last week. Former NBA star #Dennis Rodman is expected to visit #North Korea Tuesday, two officials from that country confirmed to CNN.

After having so much success fooling their Democratic base, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer must think all of America is just as gullible.

It's possible that there are tapes that could not be accessed by filing a FOIA request, or that Trump's tapes could be in the possession of another agency. Comey welcomed any tapes during his hearing, and congressional investigators have asked the White House to produce them if they exist.

"It's a very weird and peculiar thing for a one-on-one conversation without the attorney general, without warning, between the president and me or any United States attorney who has been asked to investigate various things and is in a position hypothetically to investigate business interests and associates of the president", said Mr. Bharara, who was sacked by the president hours after he refused to return a call from him.
