Russian Federation threatens personnel cut at US Embassy in Moscow

Trump Jr. coordinating with Russian Intelligence?

When pressed Thursday by CNN's Jake Tapper on why the Trump administration is considering returning two Russian compounds to USA soil, White House aide Sebastian Gorka pointed to the importance of giving "collaboration, cooperation, a chance".

In December, former US President Barack Obama ordered the removal of 35 Russians suspected of being spies after American intelligence agencies concluded that Russia had tried to interfere in the 2016 presidential election.

Following the order, Russian President Vladamir Putin said he would not retaliate, leading then President-elect Donald Trump to praise the Russian leader in a tweet.

Russia's Foreign Ministry has issued a statement today warning that they believe there are too many U.S. spies operating in Moscow under diplomatic cover, and that they may decide to expel some of those "diplomats" soon in retaliation for United States moves late past year.

Russian President Vladimir Putin heads the State Council in Moscow's Kremlin, Russia, Thursday, May 4, 2017.

IGP (Kashmir) Muneer Khan, while confirming the killing of three militants, said the operation has ended. There was an input about a couple of militants in that area.

As a reference, Moscow has repeatedly stated that an unresolved issue with the Russian diplomatic property may result in mirror actions on the part of Russia towards the United States.

Putin has not yet taken any decisions on retaliatory measures, Peskov said.

Maria Zakharova, a spokeswoman for the foreign ministry, told a news briefing on Friday that "time was running out" for the problem to be resolved.

Russia's Foreign Ministry has raised once again the issue about the Russian diplomatic compounds seized by the United States government over Moscow's meddling in the 2016 elections.

"There are too many CIA and Pentagon intelligence employees under the roof of the American diplomatic mission whose activities do not correspond to their status", Zakharova said.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov and US Undersecretary of State Tom Shannon are scheduled to meet on Monday for much-anticipated talks that Moscow abruptly cancelled last month in response to new Ukraine-related sanctions announced by the Trump administration.

Tapper came back with his own observation, stating that "we don't dole out rewards to countries because they possess a nuclear weapon", noting that America wouldn't do that with "China and Pakistan".

Zakharova thus stated that the previous U.S. administration had left a lot of unsolved issues and headaches for the new chief executive's team.

"The seized objects have not been returned".

"We consider the use of children as human shields by radical opposition members to be barbarous and unacceptable", the diplomat added. "As for the measures - the number of personnel at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow significantly exceeds the number of our personnel working in Washington".

"There is an impression that the White House is trying to solve a dual problem: on the one hand, demonstrate its position of strength in the relations with Moscow, on the other, it decreases the significance of the issue for bilateral relations".
