Manager Carlo Ancelotti has said that he is "proud" of his side after coming from behind twice to claim Super Cup victory at Dortmund's Westfallenstadion.

The new German video review ran into trouble on its first serious test but despite the embarrassment officials insist it did not decide the Bayern Munich win over Borussia Dortmund in Saturday's Super Cup.

Kimmich missed his penalty kick, but Ulreich saved against Sebastian Rode and Marc Bartra for Bayern to win the minor trophy for the second straight year.

'Everything The President Wants To Do, McMaster Opposes,' Former NSC Official Says
In an interview with MSNBC's Hugh Hewitt, Mr McMaster said Mr Trump has been "deeply briefed" on the strategy on North Korea. Bannon pushed for the pull out of the region, while McMaster argued for even greater involvement.

Christian Pulisic put Dortmund 1-0 ahead before Poland striker Robert Lewandowski equalised.

Mario Gotze was absent from Dortmund's matchday squad, having returned to action during pre-season on the back of five months due to a metabolic disorder. "I'm happy we were very concentrated", Ancelotti said.

"If we do that better, it will be hard for Bayern Munich; if we lose the ball so often, we put more pressure on ourselves".

Lewandowski added: "We made a few mistakes but it's the first match of the season".

"We know that preseason hasn't gone as well as we had wanted but today we saw the Bayern that everyone wants to see, especially in the first half when we had lots of chances", Ulreich told German broadcaster ZDF after the final whistle.

"We have to step it up even more now". Unfortunately we conceded two goals, we weren't attentive then.

Bolt raring for final show
Bolt may never have been slower before a major championship, but the threats to him have rarely been less clear. Notably, Coleman is widely regarded as the man to fill Bolt's shoes after the latter's retirement.

Asked about his double penalty save which won the game, Ulreich said: "Of course, I'm pleased to have helped the team in a penalty shootout and win a title".
