Pochettino reveals Spurs to make up to four additions

Stephan Lichtsteiner of Juventus tackles Ben Davies of Tottenham during the pre-season match between Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus at Wembley Stadium

Rose broke ranks this week in an explosive interview in which he said he is worth more than Tottenham are paying him and would consider an offer from another club.

Apart from demanding that Spurs sign top players, Danny Rose also suggested that he and his teammates were underpaid and declared that he would like to leave the club to "play up North".

In short, Spurs fans are bracing themselves for another transfer window that could go all the way to deadline day, and are fearful of another Moussa Sissoko-esque panic buy.

Pochettino though is of the belief that the club will make quality additions later in the month.

Ask any of those and they would hardly regard the Tottenham of Mauricio Pochettino, the impressive manager of the North Londoners for the past three seasons, as middleweights, but Spurs do operate distinctly.

Huddersfield Town-Crystal Palace Preview
Huddersfield Town secured their first three points in the Premier League with an opening day away victory at Selhurst Park. It will be up to Wagner to get the most out of his defence as the attack could struggle to find the back of the net.

"That is not a joke". "We're going to strengthen our squad and sign some players who can help us fight". An injury to either Kane or Alli, or even Christian Eriksen, could cost them a lot of points.

The Argentinian, who led Spurs to a second-place finish last season, continued: "Also, when I first arrived here, people wanted to know who Mauricio Pochettino (was) too".

"But the problem with that was that straight away it was the penalty against Michael Owen [in the 2002 World Cup]. For me it's in the past, the situation".

Wenger believes any Spurs anxiety about playing at the ground is simply psychological but he does feel they will struggle to generate capacity crowds of 90,000 fans throughout the coming campaign.

On Sunday afternoon, Newcastle United return to England's top flight to host the side they humiliated 5-1 in their last Premier League game, two seasons ago, Tottenham Hotspur. No, no, no. I'm exhausted.

Japan deploys missile defence over N Korea threat to Guam
The 163,000 residents that make up Guam's population, which includes 6,000 US service members, are considered USA citizens. It's not the first time North Korea has threatened Guam, which is a crucial, strategic hub for US forces in the Pacific.

On the Tottenham game, Dummett added: "They have some of the best players in the league, but we've worked hard and prepared well".

"I'm frustrated, but from the moment he apologised, everyone must move forward".

"We have a very confident team who are ready to challenge again for a big season, but it's true we have the responsibility to try to provide some new energy every season".

There are six teams who genuinely think they can win the Premier League in 2017-'18.

As in 2015, when he was Bournemouth's talisman during their promotion-winning campaign, Ritchie was Newcastle's most influential player last term, scoring 12 times and providing a further seven assists as they won the title. "I have no doubt about the team".

Facebook Introduces "Watch" Video Platform
Facebook has been trying for years to become a major player in digital video, but still lags behind its competitors. Other than its platform, the concept closely resembles TV's model of episodic shows, as Advertising Age notes.

Nobody really expects Spurs to make zero signings in the transfer window, but at the time of this writing the only signing that looks likely is Ross Barkley from Everton, whom Pochettino seems to think could be Mousa Dembele's replacement in Spurs' midfield.
