Wall Street wraps up strong week and quarter; S&P closes at record

The major U.S. stock indices are ending the day with gains (of varying amounts). The Nasdaq composite closed 0.2 points higher, within 0.4% of its record. Among the day's notable gainers, Facebook Inc.

USA stocks continued to increase Friday, with both the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq closing at record highs, as investors digested a batch of released economic reports.

"There is some rotation out of technology into some of the reflation trade sectors".

The S&P 500 Index posted a 0.01 percent gain Tuesday, narrowly avoiding a fourth day of losses. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index rose 0.5 percent to 27,662.57.
