Wild card Del Potro is scheduled to face Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, seeded no.3, who got rid of Bosnian Damir Dzumhur 6-1, 3-6, 6-3.

Cirstea, ranked 44th in the world, stunned Czech Pliskova 6-1, 7-5 to reach the last eight. The 12th-seeded Kvitova will next face either Svitolina or Caroline Garcia in the semifinals.
