Andy Cohen, the gay host of Watch What Happens Live!, is replacing Kathy Griffin as co-host of CNN's New Year's Eve festivities, Vulture reports.

After Griffin posted a photo of herself brandishing a severed head that looked like President Trump, CNN chose to cut ties with the comedienne.

Colombia vs. Peru: Time, Channel & Lineup
Colombia qualified after holding Peru to a draw, while Chile crashed out, but Sanchez says he is not getting carried away. Peru's national football team could win a spot in the World Cup for the first time in almost four decades.

After CNN relieved Griffin from her duties, Cooper said he was "appalled" by the photo.

"I've been friends with Anderson for twenty-five years". Griffin, who had co-hosted New Year's Eve with Cooper since 2007, was sacked from the gig in May after her controversial photo shoot in which she posed with a bloodied replica of President Donald Trump's head. Cooper said in a statement. However, in August, Griffin told NY magazine that their friendship had ended in the wake of the scandal.

James Corden also imagined Trump's rap-response to Eminem's diss track, which borrowed from "The Real Slim Shady". Eminem has unleashed a lyrical tirade against President Donald Trump , saying he " came to stomp ".

CNN's "New Year's Eve Live", which broadcasts from Times Square on December 31, is in its 11th year and highlights celebrations from around the world, with plenty of banter and giggles from Cooper and his co-host. During that time, Griffin also headlined her own Bravo reality series, My Life on the D List, which ran for six seasons before it ended in 2010.

With New Year's being so long away, CNN didn't rush to hire a replacement. The two tour regularly and host a night of conversation across the country.

All customers need to do from this point on is to take their unwanted products to the nearest Walmart store. The customer-facing mobile express option is expected to trim in-store returns to an average of 30 seconds.

Cohen tweeted after the announcement that he "could not be more excited".
