Vikings place Sam Bradford on IR to make room for Teddy Bridgewater

Teddy Bridgewater activated

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was listed as a full participant in Wednesday's practice, reports NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Minnesota has officially activated Teddy Bridgewater and placed Sam Bradford on injured reserve, the team announced Wednesday.

Following Bridgewater's injury a year ago, the Vikings traded for Sam Bradford, who opened this season with a 346-yards, three-touchdown opening win game against the New Orleans Saints - a 29-19 Vikings victory.

Waymo's autonomous cars are already on public roads without safety drivers
But those tests typically require a human driver to be present and take over in case there is an emergency. Those who participated in Waymo's early rider program will be among the first to experience these rides.

Now, Minnesota will have to choose whether to stick with Case Keenum, who has led the Vikings to an NFC North-leading 6-2 record, or make a midseason switch to Bridgewater.

Zimmer said the procedure was not major, and Bradford's knee is "not bone on bone". He attempted to come back, starting the Vikings October 9th game at Chicago, but was unable to finish. "Hopefully we'll be able to get him back when he gets healthy".

Bradford played in only two games this season.

It's highly unlikely the Vikings will waive quarterback Kyle Sloter, a source said Monday, to create the roster spot for Bridgewater.

While the Vikings are certainly thrilled to have Bridgewater back, there is one minor complication with his return - the Vikings are already playing well.

In a vacuum, Bridgewater is the better quarterback - he has a solid, accurate arm and is a mobile threat to both find space in the pocket and pick up the first down with his legs, making him a tough matchup for opposing defenses. Zimmer declined to speculate about when Bridgewater might become the starter again. "When he was rehabbing, before he started practicing, he was throwing to non-receivers, but since then he's been pretty good".
